Public Opinion.

It kinda sucks how some people change to the worse, don't you think?

Well, what if you were the one everyone thought has changed?

Because you moved out of the country, or,  once you did, you didn't keep in touch much when you promised you would. So, you make your own friends, and they just confirm that you've changed even more. The confrontation is horrible. Full of accusations and misunderstandings. You begin to lose your friends; you didn't want any of that. Your first year away from home has become even more pressurizing. You feel like you can't talk to anyone.

Why is that?

When once, your friends were the first people you went crying to. The first people you talked to. But everything's just different now. Cause the sad thing is; people change, things  change; even though, they're accusing you of changing, it might just be the way things turned out. Life takes it's own course sometimes, but us, as human beings, like to find someone to blame. This will ALWAYS be the case. No matter how old and mature you are. Although, some people take the blame, but in some situations, it's just not possible.

Also, you might have never changed. Let's just say.. that you've always thought differently about things; about those little little things that hardly matter. But you've kept it to yourself because majority wins, doesn't it? The minority should always respect that. Although, the cost of your various opinions shouldn't  affect your friendships; even though, that isn't always the case.. since some people find comfort around people who share their own interests and opinions. Hence, this makes it harder for some people to swallow, since not many people like leaving their comfort zones and would rather hang around people they're comfortable talking to about everything; from the weather to politics. Now, let's say you have a different view about politics than the majority does. The majority are your friends, so keep that in mind. When you're out of that bubble in which you were forced to keep your opinion to yourself, some people might see it as change. Which isn't true at all.

The whole point of this entry is to open your eyes to the complications of the word "change".

Because, I feel some people are misunderstood and play the victim when everyone else pretends to be. Losing your friends hurts enough, but making them think you're not yourself anymore? Where's the justice in that?
